I've currently got sugar pumpkins for pies, tabasco peppers for hot sauce, and a variety of herbs going in my Hermosa Beach Community Garden plot. At home, I gained a lot of real estate in the backyard of my new apartment and plan on creating a small native garden with the help of South Bay Parkland Conservancy as well as a few planters with fresh herbs and other vegetables. My yard also came adorned with a passionfruit vines which are currently in season and ripening along with a Fuji Apple Tree, Jujubee tree, two young peach trees, a guava tree, and a mulberry tree.
